Bio Dayle Hannah is an aspiring novelist originally from Durban, South Africa. Her passion for reading and writing began at a young age and at 16 she published short stories on popular open source sites. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Linguistics and Psychology from Rhodes University. Inspired by prolific authors like Celeste Ng, Isabel Allende and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Dayle’s writing style and major themes are a reflection of iconic influences. Taking a note from Jackie Collins, she introduces strong female characters and blends personal and collective histories in a way that all readers can relate and empathise with. Like her favourite authors, Dayle Hannah is a deeply passionate but private person. When not busy writing (or doing research for her writing), she spends most of her time reading, watching true crime documentaries, cooking, hosting friends and family and outdoors, in nature — where she is most inspired. She currently resides in Cape Town with her husband and is working on her next novel, book two in the “Moments” series.
